Finding legal precedents with sources
An example document assistant that searches authorised files and cites every passage it uses.
The scenario
A law firm wants to find clauses, written submissions and precedents scattered across its document management system more quickly.
Proposed approach
Index documents according to existing access rights, search by meaning and answer only from cited passages. The user always opens the source and checks the reasoning.
What would be verified
The pilot checks that no useful document is missed, that answers are correct, that access rights are respected and what the tool says when no answer exists. The tool assists research; it does not give standalone legal advice.
